- He previously served as the Director of Player Personnel for the Denver Nuggets.
- Jeffries was drafted with the 11th overall pick of the 2002 NBA draft by the Washington Wizards.
- He also played for the New York Knicks, Houston Rockets, and Portland Trail Blazers before retiring in 2013.
