Michael Peter Huerta (born November 18, 1956) was the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration of the United States of America.
He was sworn into office on January 7, 2013, for a five-year term ending on January 6, 2018.
He was responsible for the safety and efficiency of the largest aerospace system in the world and oversaw a $15.9 billion budget and more than 47,000 employees.
