David Saul Marshall DKJP (born David Saul Mashal; 12 March 1908 – 12 December 1995), was a Singaporean politician and lawyer who served as Singapore's first Chief Minister from 1955 to 1956.
He was the founder and president of the Workers' Party (Singapore) (WP).
Marshall was instrumental in the negotiations that led to the independence of Malaya.
