Eugen Bartha (2 May 1936 – 22 July 1987) was a Romanian professional handball manager.
He graduated from the I.C.E.F.S., being specialised in football.
Bartha had pioneered handball in the city of Bacau and is coaching legend of ?tiin?a Bacau.
Eugen Bartha created the team, clinching promotion to the National League of Romania and reaching at its peak the European Champions Cup final in 1986.
As the head coach at Bacau, he won six national titles.Led by Bartha, the Romania women's national handball team finished 5th in the 1986 World Championship losing only one match and that to Czechoslovakia.
They beat powerful South Korea, West Germany and France, also drawing with Norway and Yugoslavia (eventually knocking out Yugoslavia in extra time).
