- Narayana Gowda is the president of the pro-Kannada organization Karnataka Rakshana Vedike based in Karnataka, India. In the Kannada Chaluvali (Kannada movement) vacuum created after the death of A N Krishna Rao, Gowda started KRV together with Janagere Venkataramaiah.
