Cyril Svoboda (born November 25, 1956) is a Czech politician, who was leader of the Christian and Democratic Union – Czechoslovak People's Party (KDU–CSL) from 2001–2003 and 2009–2010, and a member of the Chamber of Deputies from 1998–2010.
During his political career he held several ministerial positions, including Deputy Prime Minister (July 2002 – August 2004) and Minister of Foreign Affairs (July 2002–September 2006).
He founded the Diplomatic Academy in Prague in 2011 and is currently lecturing at several universities in Prague.
