About Nathan Christoffel
- Nathan Christoffel is an award-winning Australian film director from Byron Bay, New South Wales. In 2009 he completed his debut feature, Eraser Children (winner of 'Best Australian Film' and 'Best supporting actor' at the Melbourne Underground Film Festival 2009' and 'Best Australian Film' at FPFF 2009).
- A dystopian satire 'Eraser Children' had success on the festival circuit, screening at film festivals all around the world. He is currently in pre production on a film titled The Freaks, a fantasy-thriller which combines the use of stop motion and live action and is developing the feature film 1629.
- Set in the year 1629 it follows the struggle for survival of two Dutch sailors who are marooned on the Western Australian coast as punishment for their part in the Batavia massacre. He is the owner of production company Picture Co which opened its Melbourne office in 2016.
