About Patrick Teehan

- Teehan (14 April 1904 – 25 December 1985) was an Irish Fianna Fáil politician, auctioneer and farmer.
- He was elected to Seanad Éireann on the Administrative Panel at the 1951 election, and was re-elected to the Seanad in 1954 and 1957.
- He was elected to Dáil Éireann as a Fianna Fáil Teachta Dála (TD) for the Carlow–Kilkenny constituency at the 1960 by-election caused by the death of Joseph Hughes of Fine Gael.
- He lost his Dáil seat at the 1961 general election.
- He was again elected to the Seanad on the Administrative Panel at the 1965 election but lost his Seanad seat at the 1969 election.
