About Paul Green (rugby league)

  • Paul Gregory Green (born 12 September 1972) is an Australian professional rugby league football coach who is the head coach for the North Queensland Cowboys in the NRL, and a former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s. He played for the Cronulla Sharks, North Queensland Cowboys, Sydney Roosters, Parramatta Eels and the Brisbane Broncos, winning the Rothmans Medal in 1995.
  • He was Queensland State of Origin and Australian international representative halfback.
  • As a coach Green guided the Cowboys to their first premiership in 2015.
