About Paul Izzo
- Paul David Izzo (Italian pronunciation: ['pul 'its'?]; born 6 January 1995) is an Australian professional football (soccer) player, who currently plays as a goalkeeper for Adelaide United in the A-League. Izzo played youth football at the Australian Institute of Sport before making his professional debut for Adelaide United.
- In 2015, he joined Central Coast Mariners before returning to Adelaide United in 2017. He has appeared numerous times for the Australian under-20 side. In 2018/19 season Paul’s performance in the finals series was lauded as outstanding, including a valiant effort against Perth Glory which saw him save three separate penalties during a sudden death shootout and rose his name further into Socceroos contention. Paul is an avid Collingwood Football Club supporter.
