About Taylor Hall

  • Taylor Strba Hall (born November 14, 1991) is a Canadian professional ice hockey left winger currently playing for the Arizona Coyotes of the National Hockey League (NHL).
  • He was the first overall pick in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft selected by the Edmonton Oilers. Hall had a highly successful junior career, helping the Ontario Hockey League (OHL)'s Windsor Spitfires to two consecutive Memorial Cup championships in 2009 and 2010.
  • He was named most valuable player of the Memorial Cup tournament both years. As a first round draft pick for the Edmonton Oilers, Hall was named to the NHL All-Star Game in 2011, 2016 and 2018.
  • In 2016, he was traded to the New Jersey Devils in exchange for Adam Larsson.
  • In his second season with the Devils, Hall won the Hart Memorial Trophy as the NHL's most valuable player, becoming the first Devils player in franchise history to win the award.
