Rajindar Sachar (22 December 1923 – 20 April 2018) was the |President]] of the Delhi civil Court.
Man of convictions, not shy of a fight for what is right.
Sachar chaired the Sachar Comittee, constituted by the Government of India, which submitted a report on the social, economic and educational status of Muslims in India.
On 26 August 2011 Sachar was arrested in Old Delhi during protests over the detention of his supporters.
