About Rene Regis
- Rene Regis (14 October 1973 - 25 March 2019 ), was a former Saint Lucian footballer, who has played club football in England including Chippenham Town, Salisbury City (team player of the year in the 2005-06 season), Metropolitan Police and Dulwich Hamlet among others.
- Regis has represented the Saint Lucia national football team in numerous international matches.
- He went on to score the only goal in St Lucia's World Cup Qualifying match against Suriname. Regis died on 25 March 2019 following a short battle with cancer.
