Richard Paul Conaboy (June 12, 1925 – November 9, 2018) was an American jurist who was United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
He served as an air corps sergeant in the United States Army from 1945 to 1947 before receiving a law degree from the Columbus School of Law.
He spent some time in private practice before serving in state legal and judicial roles in Pennsylvania.
He was nominated to the Middle District Court by Jimmy Carter in 1979 and served as its chief judge from 1989 to 1992.
He was chair of the United States Sentencing Commission from 1994 to 1998.
