Roberto "Kitoy" Cruz (born August 18, 1972) is the most bemedalled Taekwondo player in international competition for the Philippines.
He competed in the 1990s and was at the tail-end of a long illustrious career when he competed in the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
(where Taekwondo first became a medal sport) This was before the onset of YouTube and Social Networking when very few videos were publicly shared.
A lot of the younger generation of Taekwondo Practitioners are unfamiliar with this player's many exploits.
He currently serves as one of the national coaches for the country.
Before John Paul "Japoy" Lizardo, the Philippines had a Taekwondo Champion in Roberto "Kitoy" Cruz.
