Ron Roberts (born October 9, 1967) is the defensive coordinator at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
He was most recently the head coach at Southeastern Louisiana University for six seasons.
He was also the head coach at Delta State University for five seasons prior.
He grew up in California and attended the College of the Sequoias before transferring to the University of Tennessee at Martin where he played linebacker from 1986 to 1989.
He began his coaching career in 1992 as a high school defensive coordinator, and has coached at several high schools and held assistant coaching positions at the college level at Greensboro, Tusculum, Texas State and Delta State.
Roberts was promoted as Delta State's head football coach in 2007 and led the Statesmen to playoff appearances four times between 2007 and 2011.
He was named Southeastern Louisiana's head coach on December 19, 2011.
