- Rudolf Resch (7 April 1914 – 11 July 1943) was a Luftwaffe ace and recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross during World War II.
- The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership.
- Rudolf Resch was shot down and killed on 11 July 1943 by Soviet fighters during the Battle of Kursk.
- During his career he was credited with 94 aerial victories, 1 in the Spanish Civil War and 93 on the Eastern Front.
