Sal LoCascio (born April 6, 1967) is an American former professional lacrosse goaltender and coach who played the majority of his career for the New York Saints of the National Lacrosse League.
He also played one season with the Long Island Lizards, and after retiring as a player, served as the head coach of the Saints, and also of the MLL’s Bridgeport/Philadelphia Barrage
LoCascio is one of the few lacrosse players, and one of the only goaltenders to achieve success in both box and field lacrosse.
Today, he is widely regarded as one of the greatest lacrosse goaltenders of all time.
