- He has played six seasons in the Swedish top-tier league Elitserien (SEL), as well as six seasons in the second-tier league HockeyAllsvenskan (Swe-1).
- Internationally Meijer represented the Swedish junior national team at the 2004 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships.
