Shane McInerney (born 19 October 1970) is an Australian rules football field umpire in the Australian Football League.
He has umpired 500 career games, midway through the 2019 AFL Season, which is first in the list of most VFL/AFL games officiated by any umpire.
He was raised in Ballarat, Victoria.
McInerney umpired in the 2004 AFL Grand Final alongside Brett Allen and Matthew James .
He also umpired in the 2007 AFL Grand Final alongside Scott McLaren and Stephen McBurney.
He has also umpired 18 AFL Finals throughout his career.
