- He was a drummer and percussionist with the German heavy metal/hard rock band Scorpions from 1965 to 1972. The cover of the compilation album Psychedelic Gems 2, where 2 early Scorpions recordings appear, incorrectly states that "Wolfgang Dziony later died in an accident".
