Stephen Lee Gunn, known as Steve Gunn (born May 12, 1946), is an American securities investor who served as an Independent member from 1992 to 1996 of the Louisiana House of Representatives for District 22 (Catahoula, Grant, and La Salle parishes plus one precinct in Rapides Parish).
From 2002 to 2010, he was the mayor of Montgomery.
On November 6, 2018, Gunn came out of retirement to reclaim the mayor's office.
With 60 percent of the ballots cast, Gunn defeated Democrat Clyde Baines, with 17 percent, and incumbent Mayor Vera "Susie" Waters, a Democrat-turned-Independent, who held 24 percent of the vote.
