About Augusto da Silva
- Augusto Ălvaro da Silva (April 8, 1876 â August 14, 1968) was a Brazilian Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church.
- He served as Archbishop of SĂŁo Salvador da Bahia from 1924 until his death in 1968, and was elevated to the cardinalate in 1953 by Pope Pius XII.
