About Volkmar Weiss
- Volkmar Weiss (born 23 May 1944 in Zwickau, Saxony) is a German scientist and writer, primarily interested in the field of IQ research.
- He is mostly known for his controversial thesis that biological intelligence is fixed to social class and for co-founding the German Social Union. He was previously a member of the German Christian Democratic Union (CDU) from 1990 to 1993.
- In his controversial book Deutschland schafft sich ab Thilo Sarrazin refers to and uses Weiss' arguments to support his own conclusions in chapter 8.
