  • Walter Carl Anderson (September 25, 1897 – January 6, 1990), also known as "Lefty" Anderson, was a professional baseball player whose playing career spanned five season, including parts of two in Major League Baseball with the Philadelphia Athletics in 1917 and 1919.
  • Anderson compiled a major league record of 1–0 with a 3.25 earned run average (ERA) and 20 strikeouts in 17 games, two starts.
  • He also played in the minor leagues with the Class-B Fort Worth Panthers, the Double-A Louisville Colonels and the Class-B Rockford Rox.
