About Wayne Twitchell
- Wayne Lee Twitchell (March 10, 1948 – September 16, 2010), was an American professional baseball right-handed pitcher, who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Milwaukee Brewers (1970), Philadelphia Phillies (1971–1977), Montreal Expos (1977–1978), New York Mets (1979), and Seattle Mariners (1979), over the course of his ten-year big league career. Twitchell had a 2.50 earned run average (ERA) for the last place Phillies in 1973, good for third in the National League (NL), and was honored with an All-Star selection.

- Twitchell was also noted for giving up the home run to Hank Aaron that put Aaron into second place all-time (649), passing Willie Mays, in 1972.
