About Łukasz Karwowski
- Lukasz Karwowski (born December 30, 1965 in Torun) is a Polish film director, screenwriter and producer. In 1985-1986, he studied Polish literature at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, but subsequently gave it up, and studied first at the National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield, and then at the National Film School in Lódz.
- In 1992, he made his first important movie, Listopad, which won him critical acclaim. He directed dozens of television commercials, and currently (2008) works on a new project, American Love.
