About Bernardino Corio
- Bernardino Corio (born 1459 in Milan; died ca.1519) was an Italian humanist and historian of the Renaissance.
- He wrote Historia di Milano circa 1500.He came from a noble family and dedicated himself to the study of philology.
- In 1474 he entered into the service of Duke Galeazzo Maria Sforza of Milan and, after his death in 1476, served his son Gian Galeazzo Sforza.
- Until the reign of Ludovico Sforza he occupied a number of various posts.
- Following Ludovico's downfall, Corio left Milan.
- Nothing is known about his fate thereafter.
