Donald Thomas DiFrancesco (born November 20, 1944) is a former American Republican politician.
He was President of the New Jersey Senate from 1992 until 2002 and by virtue of this office originally Acting Governor of New Jersey from 2001 to 2002 after his predecessor Christine Todd Whitman had joined the federal government.
In 2006 he was retroactively declared the 51st Governor of New Jersey by a law of the New Jersey Legislature.
