About Zhong Wanxie
- Zhong Wanxie (Chinese: ???; born 24 February 1934), also known as Wan-Xie Zhong, is a Chinese civil engineer and physicist.
- He is a professor at the Dalian University of Technology who specializes in computational mechanics and engineering mechanics.
- He pioneered computational mechanics in China, and served as the founding Chairman of the Chinese Association for Computational Mechanics and an executive committee member of the International Association for Computational Mechanics.
- He was elected an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1993.
