Brett Michael Gardner (born August 24, 1983) is an American professional baseball outfielder who is a free agent.
He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the New York Yankees.
Gardner made his MLB debut with the Yankees in 2008 and was a part of the Yankees' 2009 World Series championship team over the Philadelphia Phillies.
He was named an All-Star in 2015 and won a Gold Glove Award in 2016.
Gardner is the current longest-tenured New York Yankee.
