Walery Rzewuski (born 14 April 1837 in Krak贸w, died 18 November 1888 Krak贸w) was an early Polish photographer, social activist and an alderman of his native city.
He is considered one of Poland's most important 19th-century photographers.
He was the author of many portraits of leading lights in the world of culture and science of his time.
He also took pictures of the nobility, entrepreneurs and members of government.
The State Museum of the History of Photography in Krak贸w is named after him.
