About Werner Schuster (politician)
- Rudolf Werner Schuster (20 January 1939 – 9 May 2001) was a Tanganyika-born German physician, specialist in health informatics, and SPD politician. Raised in a colonial East African household, Schuster studied medicine at the University of Tübingen in the 1960s and during his professional career worked mostly in health informatics and medical computer science.
- He was a city councillor at Idstein for seventeen years before serving as a member of the Bundestag from 1990 until his death.
- On the national stage he concerned himself with health and Africa and the fight against AIDS.
