About Jeff Agoos
- Jeffrey Alan Agoos (born May 2, 1968) is a retired Swiss-born American soccer defender, and one of the all-time appearance leaders for the United States national team.
- Agoos served as the Sporting Director for the New York Red Bulls, and currently is the Vice President of Competition for Major League Soccer. Agoos won a record five MLS championships: three with D.C.
- United, and two with the San Jose Earthquakes.
- He also won the 1996 U.S.
- Open Cup, and was the 2001 MLS Defender of the Year.
- He was inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 2009.
